Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, living at least part-time in Switzerland, is the President of the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club in Abu Dhabi. Falah, the son of the first UAE President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, keeps the vision of his late father alive at the polo club by offering an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of Abu Dhabi. The younger Nahyan has managed to keep this 300-hectacre grassland alive and well and full of the excitement only world-class polo can provide.
Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in addition to spending time in Switzerland, works hard to maintain the same polo club that has delighted guests since 1994 as a private venue. With vast, world-class polo fields and equestrian facilities, visitors, spectators, and horseback riders have loved the grounds and the club that Ghantoot has become known for over the past three decades. The Club has hosted many luminaries and big names in its rich history, becoming one of the most prestigious and exclusive polo clubs in the region. As of today, the Club remains the only Polo Club in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, though spending time in Switzerland, is an insider in the ruling family of the United Arab Emirates and is extremely well-connected in Abu Dhabi.
